- Cathy Vogan is based in Sydney since 2003. She has previously resided in France, Australia and the UK. While still a student at Sydney College of the Arts, Cathy Vogan won her first of 8 international video awards, and 2 years later, moved to Paris for 16 years, where she co-founded Fearless Studios: a broadcast post production facility, and made made films, multi-media installations and theatrical events. Vogan has shown her work throughout the world, including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Brazil, the USA and Australia, and for the last 10 years, maintains a high profile online, through her website vogania.com, which receives up to 40000 visitors per month. Vogan’s third activity has been as a theoretical and “hands-on” lecturer in digital media, since 1988 (University of Paris VIII, Ecole du Frenois, KHS Cologne, Eurpoean School of Visual Arts, Poitiers, France), and she has continued teaching in both the educational and corporate sectors, since her return to Australia in 2003 (AFTRS, COFA ABC, DISNEY, ANIMAL LOGIC). She has also been active as a broadcast designer, editor-compositor and technical consultant.
